Designer and developer Traf has posted a screenshot of his iOS homepage on Twitter. Users liked the homemade icons, the developer noticed, so he created a website and started selling them.

In the first two hours of work, the icons brought him over $ 5,000. A few more hours later, he made $9,240 from 330 buyers. According to the latest data – more than 1,000 copies were sold for ~ $28,000

iOS 14 came out of beta in September 2020. Among other things, users can customize the icons and widgets on the home screen. They can be placed anywhere, customized in size and design.
